Who’s That Girl?

So you want to know more about me, do you?

To tell the truth, the best way to do that is to read the posts that will be coming up on this lovely little blog. However, in the meantime, I’ll give you the short version.

I am a 24 year old newlywed, in the process of immigrating from rural Northern British Columbia to city living in Oregon, USA, who enjoys spending my time reading, writing, crocheting, drinking tea (or coffee, depending on my mood), listening to music, staying up too late and spending time with lovely people. I have a humanitarians heart, having traveled to Mexico a number of times to build houses with Live Different, and I enjoy meeting needs where ever I can. I find immense joy in learning new things, and can often be found with my  nose in a book or my computer screen reading something interesting.

This blog was started in 2013, as an experiment in practicing gratitude and jumping back into the world of writing again. Its been a bumpy and unpredictable journey so far, but my hope is that as I learn how to be a wife, a youth leader, a Canadian living in the United States, and ultimately, a passionate follower of Christ that God will give me new words to share with the world.

Other ways you can get to know me:

You can follow along with my various weekly posts, you can check out the Getting to Know Me post from early January 2014, or you can read back a ways. And for those readers who know me in reality, you could just have tea with me. 🙂

  1. I’m two weeks away from 23 and looking forward to another year of the twenties! 22 has been by far the most challenging but as I’m coming out of it, I’ve never been so clear headed with such a positive outlook on life. Hopefully you can relate!

    • Sorry it took so long to respond!

I definitely can relate, and I’m more excited about this upcoming year than I think I have ever been. Happy Birthday, whenever it happens to fall this week, and I do hope that this year is your best ever. 🙂
